John William Bailly // In Situ at The Deering Estate

John William Bailly has spent the last four years embedded in the Deering Estate as the inaugural McCormick Art Fellow. During his tenure, Bailly has transformed his Power House studio into a salon that welcomes artists, students, guests and creatives alike to enter into his hub of creative energy. The culminating exhibition of his residency In Situ, brings the vitality of Bailly’s studio practice into the Deering Estate’s Great Hall gallery. John William Bailly: In Situ includes a series of paintings and drawings created by Bailly at the Deering Estate, with references to the Burial Mound and The Cutler Fossil Site.
